Strength:

Hayes hyd. disc brakes, drive train, frame

Weakness:

seat post, forks, 4 bolt chain rings

Excellent Rig. Brodie has been doing some homework and have an excellent line up this year.
Bent the seat post after about 2 months of riding. Not really sure why, i am not a big guy, just seems that maybe made of some really soft aluminum. Next, i have been having trouble with the 3 bolt chain rings. Made of more soft stuff.
Was pretty happy with the forks for first months, but it seems that the other day, the oil has all been blown out and now we have too see how easy they are to re-build.
Overall, the bike is setup for the big stuff. The S-bend rear stays keep the back not too hard of a ride for the backside, yet very still when we need the power. 4" of fork travel has become the must for the westcoast and this bike it up for the punishment. Good job Brodie

Strength:

Strong frame construction. Beefy welds on all joints. Rigid 7000 series oversized Alum tubing. Very good component group. Looks like a potential Freeride rig.

Weakness:

None period.

Excellent bike thou a bit pricey for a hardtail. Why? Because it has a very good set of components included in the package. (XT Disks, RaceFace Prodigys, XT Compos). This looks like a real sweet urban ride!
