Strength:

Overall the bike looks sweet but once you get to ride it you could be tempted to make some changes

Weakness:

1. The fork Sucks. 2. seat? no gotta go 3. weak pivit 4. bars are too wide. 5. gear shifting no it needs alot of adjustment. 6. new pedals are a must 7. well ill stop there or else i wont have a bike left to talk about

bottom line is that this bike sux once you become a good rider. its hard on cross country rides and you tire easily. Me personally i like downhill biking with insane drop offs.
i would not advise using this bike for downhill riding if it is still stock. next year im going to start dh racing so if anyone is interested in a good beginner bike this one is for sale at 1000 firm because iv invested over 1500 in the bike. contact me at poolmansupplyer@icqmail.com

Strength:

Price, full suspension, good shocks, color and style

Weakness:

Some gear slip, hard grips and seat.

Excellent value, especially for the price. Gears shift well except for occasional slips in 4th. An adjustment should fix this. The RST shocks front and rear work very well and really smooth out the bumps and ruts. The bike handles very well and looks really nice. Why pay more for a higher priced bike when you can get this one and simply upgrade components if you prefer? I really love the low climbing gear since I used to have to push my previous bike up any decent slopes. I ride cross country on some very tricky trails and have no troubles with this bike. I don't do the crazy jumps so I can't say how the bike would handle that. Save your hard earned money and get a Haro, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Strength:

It is light but not to light, the shocks are really responsive, beautiful bike, shifting format is alot better than my previous grip shift. can get off line lot better

Weakness:

HARD SEAT AND SMALL PEDALS but an easy replacement. shifting work most of the time but not all. no kick stand

Bottom line this bike is almost perfect but not quite. but with the price, you can make it perfect. A great bike to be proud of and to show off, I know I have. A good bike for beginners or experts.

Strength:

Nice welds, strong gussets, great swingarm (After what happened to the 99's) nice disc mounts, hydraulic cable routing is stylish, very very strong frame.

Weakness:

the pivot, really the only weakness, I designed and machined me very own sealed bearing pivot system using two cartrige bearings and a huge axle it is oh so strong and smooth and stiff now. no flex at all.
please e-mail me at jcalder7@hotmail.com if you want to see pictures of my system. I am also planning on marketing it so if you want to upgrade your system to a bearing that will never flex or wear out drop me a line.

Buy the frame, put a new pivot in it, and upgrade and customize it to the moon! This is one of the most versatile dual suspension frames on the market, it can be a light xc racer (but that's no fun) a freerider (fun!) or a moderate dh racer with 6 inches in the rear (that's what I've got with the shock I used. I'f you upgrade the shock (I reccomend) please make sure the stroke is the right length (slightly more than stock) or you will hear the loudest klang of your life when the swingarm crossmember smokes the seat stay. If you're really brave you can contour the crossmember with a file or a dremel and touch up the paint to improve clearance but dont screw with the geometry or it will feel like a unicycle. If you want any tips on upgrading, fixing, designing or finding deals on good stuff. E-mail me jcalder7@hotmail.com

If you want a do anything frame that you can make into whatever you want it to be, go to your haro dealer and buy this frame! then getch yo customizin' on!!!
now go and ride.

Strength:

Strong frame
cheap

Weakness:

original shocks sucks.
not enougth travel in the rear.

After upgrading it, this bike kicks ass.
Who should buy it? - A beginning freerider that don't have the cash to buy the more expensive models.
This bike in not good for xc (too heavy).
For value I'm giving 4 chilis because you must upgrade this bike to have fun with it, and that means spending more money on it.
Overall 5 chilis because its an excellent frame

Strength:

Front and rear RST shocks absorbed every bump on the trail. This bike has the ability to stay on the tral with its quick turning and phat tires. The blue color, and incredable component group make this bike a truly great buy for 600$

Weakness:

None that i noticed i wouldve upgraded the cranks and derailers

This bike kicks ass. And for the price it is a must buy. Haro is a great coimpany and really knows their bikes and it shows in the "Extreme EX0" Any XC rider who is looking for a cheap full suspension bike this is a good one to purchase

Strength:

Great Handling, stock shocks work great.

Weakness:

Seat is Hard........looking for comfort on longer rides recommend replacing it.

I went from a VW to Cadillac. Was riding a hardtail Huffy with no shocks at all. This is Real smooth. Fiends have a Giant Warp DS2 and a Specialized full suspension and for a couple Hundred less I got the better bike. I'm 43 and have been riding for over 6 months....with this bike I feel 20 years younger and braver. Before you go out and spend hundred's more give this bike a try, you'll be happy you did.
