Strength:

the i drive

Weakness:

havent found one suspension needs upgrade i guese

great bike since upgrade on suspension only only complaint after ten years is a recent one since running wide tyres they just fit in rear fork with a 32th clearance either side between tyre edge and fork which is fine until you hit gravel then when gravel gets stuck in nobs and hits fork frame

Strength:

Great frame, I-Drive works perfectly, easily upgradable, pedals well

Weakness:

No rear disc mount, weight, for Uk conditions, the i-drive needs some kind of cover

Great AM bike, if rather heavy for the climbs! bought the bike brand new in early 2000 and its done me very well. no probs with it at all, just a pity there is no rear disc mount and it is a rather heavy bike by today's standards. I've got it in red and it looks amazing! The bike with all its new set up currently weighs 33.0 lbs

Strength:

A great ride with almost no mechanical problems after 9 years of use.

Weakness:

I upgraded the front and rear Deraileur for a more dependable ride. The original saddle was very uncomfortable, so I replaced it with a "male" saddle to also make for a more comfortable ride.

It has been a great bike used several times in the Iceman and Ore to Shore races here in Michigan

Strength:

EXCELLENT SUSPENSION DESIGN,FRAME SEEMS STRONG

Weakness:

IMPOSSIBLE TO ADJUST REAR SHOCK INDUCED BOBBING WITH ROCK SHOX JUNK. SPRING CHANGES MADE NO DIFFERENCE.THE NICE PLUSH JUDY LONG TRAVEL MADE ENDOS NICE N EASY.

AFTER SOME SHOCK UPGRADES AND CHANGING THE SUNTOUR CRANK TO A SPLINED BOTTOM BRACKET WITH LX DEORE CRANK AND CHANGING THE REAR CASSETE TO A SRAM AND INTALLING TIME PEDALS.ITS THE BEST PERFORMING ALL PURPOSE FULL SUSPENSION BIKE EVER MADE.I DON,T FEEL LIKE RIDING MY HARD TAIL ANYMORE LIKE I DID WITH THE K2 OR FSR.SLIGHTLY HEAVY BUT DOESNT FEEL IT.LOVES TECHNICAL TERRAIN AND DOWNHILLS BETTER THAN ANY IN CLASS INCREDIBLE CLIMBING EFFIENCY NEEDS BETTER BRAKES SOON.GREAT BIKE FOR AVERAGE WEIGHT OF 150-170 BUT NEEDS SHOCK UPGRADES WITH HIGHER WEIGHTS I WEIGH 240-250.

Strength:

Floats over everything. I-Drive is one of the best designs i've seen for a full-suspension bike.

Weakness:

It's so heavy. After 2 years the stock components are starting to go, but hey they are cheap components.

This is a great bike for the entry level rider. I wouldnt recommend racing cross country on it (its just too heavy). But i found its a great trail bike, good for drops (it takes 4 foot drops w/o complaint), and technical riding. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for an entry level full-suspension bike.

it's black and looks menacing

Weakness:

saddle

Hey stuff how rides it matt black looks menacing and you can creep around in the dark in stealth mode. No body wants to nick it in case it bites and by the way it's bloody heavy and on road you bouce along like on a rocking chair
