Strength:

the thing is pretty fast for yonger riders and can beat the standart crmo bike under $200 in a race .

Weakness:

wow this thing is just HEAVY for a racing bike but what do you exepect from a bike name XL . and the cranks DEFINETLY need work if you want to beat higher end racers.

well lets see here so far ive spent more money on modifcations than the actual cost of the origial bike it self the viper JUST HAPPANED TO WORK OUT FOR ME BUT IF YOU GO AND PURCHACE THIS BIKE TO RACER WITH BE PREPARED TO BUY BETTER PARTS FOR IT IN ORDER TO BEAT HIGHTER END BIKES

RONNIE   Cross Country Rider [Aug 31, 2000]
Strength:

MAD LOOKS, SMOOTHE RIDE, GREAT BREAKS

Weakness:

A LITTLE HEAVY FOR BEGINNING JUMPERS

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS BIKE THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT ON DISPLAY. ITS A VERY SHARP LOOKING BIKE. AT ABOUT $200 I THINK ITS A VERY GOOD PRICE FOR A BIKE OF THIS QUALITY. EVERY THING ABOUT THIS BIKE IS GOOD. A LITTLE HEAVY BUT WHAT WOULD U EXPECT FROM A NAME LIKE XL. A MUST OWN FOR ALL DIAMONDBACK FANS.

Strength:

excelent frame strong too,

Weakness:

the spokes are crap wen i bought the bike it came with aluminium spokes, the brakes keeps on getting lose but are great for skids, and quit Heavy, NO WONDER ITS XL

i love the bike, the minute i saw it i hot my dad to buy it for me straight away, after all i am only 15 years old the tires and spokes are a bit crap thought because they are made of alluminium and every time i jump the spokes bend, but anyway its a great bike and i love it.
