Weekend Warrior

Strength:

Great spec from the factory, already has all of the little changes I would have done.

Weakness:

Fork, good fork, but not on par with the rest of the bike. I got a Lyrik DH Solo Air and now it is set. Price, not more than others, actually compared it is a good deal, but it is hard to say that $4500 is a good deal for a mountain bike!

If you ride more free-ride and trail then anything else and do it on one bike, then this bike rips. It pedals pretty well and carves and absorbs when you point it down hill. There is more bob to the pedaling, but you are rewarded when you point it down hill.
Bottom line if you are always looking for a hip or a jump while riding single track, this bike is for you. If your goal is to be the fastest on the trail, this isn't the bike for you.

Weekend Warrior

Strength:

Solid build, good all mountain geometry, plush shock and fork, 2012 X0 brakes have good modulation. Command post works a treat for uphill. Wide bars are great. 2 x 10 grearing and carbon cranks are awesome.

Weakness:

Rims seem a bit light but still running true for now

So far this seems like the perfect bike for hitting the bike parks and still being able to head out for a mornings flowing single track without too much penalty.

Strength:

Handles Great! Plush ride, ample stopping power, great seat post, tires grip like fly on flypaper. Climbs amazingly well. The 2x10 gear ratio with the XO rear derailleur - x9 shifters - and x7 front derailleur makes for a great setup. Bash guards and protective items place nicely around the bikes drive train. Just Awesome!

Weakness:

A little heavy but with all the bells and whistles what do you expect. Only around 33lb though. Back breaks vibrate pretty bad when you crank down on the breaks, but I guess they just have to be broken in first. They are large breaks so might take a few more rides. Other than that the bike is PRIMO!

I would recommend this bike to anyone wanting an all-mountain bike. You can take this thing to Angelfire Mountain Bike Park or ride Walnut Creek. Either way it is going to perform top notch!

I give it 4 chillies because nothing deserves 5 unless it is made out of gold and dosnt ever need to be maintained!

This is a pricy bike. 4400 bucks! Maybe it will be cheaper next year but if you have the cash then why not.
