Helmetless   Weekend Warrior [Apr 13, 2014]

2012 model - It is a great trail bike frame, which features a very soft rear suspension platform and nice highlights. You have the option to put 650b wheels on it.

Hard to tune a right rebound setup with the Ario shock included. Front suspension (Sektor) just too plushy, coil is too soft for average riders over 160lb. Not worthy XC components.

I recently got this bike from the lbs I am working with, it is a 2012 model. This bike loves to be pushed/bombed and brings a lot of play when it comes to cornering and catching up speed from a sprint.

I just considered the bike has so many unfortunate components around it that one is wondering if anyone with this setup could really enjoy on it. Hard to get the Rockshox Sektor included in the package lacks the capability of being profitable for many real-world riders weighing in at 170-200lbs. Instead, it has a very soft coil spring which gives mepplenty of unnecesary sag, apart from giving the bike a steeper head angle. Although rear suspension has its own issue of feeling, I ended up finding a sweet spot with low rebound/160psi to my weight of 175lbs.

Also hard to get the fact the bike has a 640mm handlebar attached to a 100mm stem. And a quite heavy dropper post with manual trigger under the saddle that only shows 80mm of useable travel.

So well, I just swapped everything on this bike and put 650b wheels, which fit pretty nicely.

Bottom line,
Frame is worth 4.5 chilis, 5 chilis to me, is a virtual pivot point rs, tried Santa Cruz and Giant, love that stuff.
Equipment is 3 chilis.
