Giant XtC Composite 29er Frame 29er Hardtail

Giant XtC Composite 29er Frame 29er Hardtail

DESCRIPTION

Giant’s first-ever composite 29er was developed to meet the demands of our professional racers. They asked for the stability and control of a 29er, but with razor-sharp handling. Made with Giant Composite Technology, the frame’s massive MegaDrive downtube and OverDrive headtube give it quick, precise steering. Asymmetrical chainstays and a PowerCore bottom bracket boost traction and acceleration. Find new confidence, and speed, with XtC Composite 29er.

Strength:

Light, stiff, durable, geometrys perfect, carbon or composite whatever mutes trail thats kind of cool. geo

Weakness:

My xtc comp 29er custom set up bombs through everything . Its so easy on the climbs it gets up anything with ease and in a hurry . On fireroads this thing cant be touched either direction. The rough technical descents came sometimes feel like your holding a jack hammer, just pick your lines right and the momentum of this thing will rip through anything with stabability and confidence .

Strength:

Super stiff/efficient. Insanely effeicient. Rides super smooth, looks awesome, handles amazingly etc. etc.

Weakness:

Not necessarily a weakness, but I wish Giant ha stuck with a BB30 or even threaded BB. The BB92 is somewhat of a pain to find replacement parts for, but I dont really see any reason to ever replace it, so its not that big of a deal.

Quite possibly the best 29er hardtail frame built to date. Its not the lightest out there, but it more than makes up for that in ride quality. Super smooth riding, but so insanely stiff where it needs to be. Cant foresee it ever breaking, it feels so bombproof its unreal. If your considering it, buy it!
