Titus Rockstar Carbon 29er Full Suspension

Be the first in the world. Get an unrepeatable bargain. Move fast. Get faster. Get the fastest Titus ever, and get it for the best price you'll ever believe. It's ready. Hot from the oven, ready to rock. The Titus Rockstar Carbon 29 developed and tested over the last 18 months, on trails, races, multi day epics - It's finally ready to ship, and this is your chance to get an unrepeatable offer on this 100mm carbon rocket in its very first production run.

It's fast, it's calm, it's composed, it's classic. A 70deg head angle gives high speed trail stability when set with an 100mm fork, but handles the twisties perfectly, and if you want added trail fun it kicks back a degree with a 120mm fork. The 73deg seat angle perches you perfectly for power down performance. Balanced 459mm chainstay dimension gives balance on steep ups and downs. Super low stand over height on all sizes makes this easy to throw around on trail or race tracks. BB height is a 36.5mm drop from wheel centre at rest, giving a 13.2in BB with 2.2in trail tyres.

Hand laid up by the foremost full suspension carbon factory in the world, using high modulus T700 and T800 Toray carbon fibre, we've tuned the mat layup internally and externally to give performance and durability.

High Direct Mount front mech gives brilliant shifting and excellent tyre clearance. 30.9mm seat post, 34.9mm clamp. One bottle mount on the down tube. 135mm rear spacing. Tapered integrated head tube (to fit Orbit C-40 type headset). Rear brake mount is an IS standard. Frame weight 6lb.

Strength:

stiff, playfull, good stability, great customer service, cheap for a full carbon XC / light trail bike.

Weakness:

Rear axel is a quickrelease and no bolttrough, Headset options limited, alu plate on downtude can get loose.

I've got the Rockstar Carbon for a nearly 10 months and I have to say I love it. It handels great and for a 29'er it is playfull. It handles great on the trails and I can launch myself trough the turns. It climbs realy wel and on the downs it feels stabel and gives confidence to realy push it. I have done rocky and technical "all mountain" trails and 100km marathons with the Rockstar and it handled perfect on all. The only thing I regret is going for 100 mm front instead om 120 mm that would made it even more versitile.

Strength:

Stiff; minimal flex
relatively light
Great Geometry for 6'4" rider
excellent customer service; the pivots are easy to manage and cheap compared to what Trek charges

Weakness:

can't through axle the rear wheel
very specific with the headset that is required; limited options

I got the frame a few months ago following demo for the weekend. I use to ride a GF HIFI which I was very happy with but ended up breaking to parts and could not get them replaced. The ride of the Rockstar was noticeable immediately. There was a great feel of go fast as you want and the bike will do the rest. I have taken it out at least 10 rides and have had a smile every time.

I have it setup with a Reba XX through axle fork, wide handlebars, Charger Pro wheels and the On ONE Chunky Monkeys-a must buy when you get the bike. They have been the best tires that I have tried since Nevegals.

Previous bikes: Santa Cruz blur, Gary Fisher HIFI

Rockstar by far is a favorite!
