Pros: A bike so fast that leaves you scratching your head. The bike is all about getting the geometry right. Been riding a custom built ragley mmmbop 2017 for almost a year now and even though people say that I could've got a full suspension bike at 3000$ (what it cost me because it's custom built with fox factory forks and better wheels) I never had regret my decision. It is lighter than fs easier to maintain and I have high end components rather than an fs with entry level components. The bike is crazy fast and no matter how hard you push it it keeps asking for more. The long wheel base and slack head angle makes the bike really stable on descends. You can literally crush everything in your way. Yes the back end is rigid but as long as you can use your legs as suspension it's not a problem. Infact it makes for a more thrilling ride and you just don't feel like the bike wants to kill you at any point. Really balanced ride and puts the rider in the sweet spot without any effort while descending.
Cons: Riding steep up hills is not much fun but then even the best climbing bike won't be putting a smile on my face when climbing. It doesn't like going slow. Tight switch backs are a bit difficult due to long and slack geometry.
