CamelBak SnoDawg Water Carrier

CamelBak SnoDawg Water Carrier

DESCRIPTION

Lightweight and with just enough room for the essentials, this daypack features an insulated Big Bite™ valve and tube for winter adventures.. Contour design wraps around shoulders and waist to ergonomically distribute the load and add stability. Padded shoulder straps with sternum strap and a webbing waist belt help distribute the load evenly. Main compartment holds gear while the outside zipper pocket keeps small essentials close at hand. Made from polyurethane for odor- and taste-free water, the bladder collapses flat as you drink for a slosh-free load. Big Bite valve and tube are insulated to keep liquids from freezing. Screw-cap closure on bladder is easy to fill and lets you add ice cubes. Made from abrasion-resistant ripstop nylon and packcloth for long-lasting durability. Two compression straps help stabilize the load.

Strength:

Great stylish look. Excellent workmanship. Very sturdy with durable zippers. The insulated drinking tube actually prevents freezing, until to about 20 degrees F.

Weakness:

My drink bladder leaks a bit where the tube attaches to the bladder, especially when something heavy presses on this area. Camelbak sent me a replacement bladder, but it still leaks a few drops. No other weaknesses!

Great backpack for a day at the slopes! Drinking while skiing/boarding is just as important as while biking. The backpack holds enough gear for a normal day on the slopes. I LOVE mine, except the minimal leaking.
Another option to look at: Hydropack Snowstorm

Similar Products Used:

Normal hydration backpacks, but they freeze up when you wear them skiing.
