Very easy to use two button design!
Easy to edit and upload vids to YouTube...

Weekend Warrior

Strength:

Vibrant colors, clear hi-def picture, easy to edit if file is converted to high quality AVI with neoscene or similar program before being brought into editor, cordless

Weakness:

Memory card selection can be finicky, record switch is loose (after market mount solves this), wobbly mounts (after market mount from xtreme vu? also solves this)

I had to send the 1st back after the recording slide switch failed to work. The 2d unit has been problem free. I would suggest purchasing the after market mount and lens shield from XtremeVu. It will stabilize most wobble and tighten up the record switch. The ContourHD GPS actually appears to have a raised slider switch which would make it easier to operate. This or the GPS model in my opinion is the cam to get for now. The POV HD's release is imminent and will likely be the most outstanding cam--but there are those pesky cables...

Strength:

Good size, light weight, lasers to align and aim images, 720P x 60fps mode.

Weakness:

Corrupts memory card if recording when the battery dies. Loose record switch, very uneven focus across the image.

Could be a great product if it was more carefully constructed and optically aligned. Needs "smart" battery monitoring firmware to close files as power runs down. I would look at a Drift HD170 with the little on-board screen if I was buying again.
