Strength:

always worked, got me home many times, has gauge, small size

Weakness:

arm and elbow are slightly sore after pumping 26 x 1.9 to 50 psi

This product saved me from walking home countless times, it is easily rebuildable and cleanable. It is small and unobtrusive on the frame. Considering my cost, it is a good deal.

Strength:

Well it was free...and it looks kinda cool

Weakness:

Um, doesn't like to compress air in a controlled manner to pressurize an inner tube.

My 3 year old son thinks it makes a wicked toy Pump Shotty and I will no miss it one bit.
On the plus side the mount for it holds my snake light nicely for nite time riding for about $30...

Strength:

Looks great, especially with the little gauge (which is why i bought it)

Weakness:

Just doesn't work

I found this pump to be difficult to use for all the reasons stated in the other reviews: strange angle on the air outlet, inaccurate gauge, pump head doesn't connect to the valve (schrader)very well. I discovered the trick of tweaking the screw knob on the pump end but serously, this pump is way to much trouble. I had all these complaints before reading the other reviews here and I'm glad it isn't just me being stupid. this pump sucks.

Weakness:

frame bracket

This pump is not half as bad as all these people say it is. If you're careful with it, it won't bend your presta's and it will pump up your tires if know how to use it. Of course, the guage is mostly decoration and the little frame bracket drops the pump almost everyday. Bottom line, most of these reviews are from people who don't know how to use the pump.

I`ve been using the cannondale pomp for some time now, and i hate it as much as my coda-pedals. It is unusable , i hate it it sucks in every single way. But i hate my pedals even more ................., i hate them .......... The zefal quickshot is way beter and you can even fill your tires with it.... Sorry cannondale, but this is not the way you should produce ascesories.........

I still don't get it. What are all these bad reviews for? I had one problem. The valve would not go into the hole. That was corrected simply by unscrewing the thing around the hole a little bit. It barely lets any air out. It is a very light pump. It does not bend. Made out of Aluminum. Does NOT break!!!!!!!!! The best.

This pump sucks! Love C-dale, but this item dosn't behave like it's C-dale.
Why did they put that little useless gauge on it? Dosn't work anyway...
I'm allmost looking forward to the day i drop it...
Sorry Cannondale...

My dad has a farm with two 800+ pound cows and this pump is still the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen. One chilli is three to many.

posted a prior review further down the list - to those who say this pump is not so bad probably haven't tried other pumps - i got a blackburn mammoth as a replacement and it is awesome for such a small pump! the cannondale broke right away!

I ride an F1000 which is a fantastic product. This pump however, is definitely not one of C-dale's better efforts. I broke two valve stems because of the head angle, which really sux if your 5 miles from your car and sans another spare. (hint: if you only unscrew the valve a little bit you won't have as much trouble with broken stems). The gauge is essentially worthless; mine reads 20psi when my home gauge reads 60. I will give it marks for being tough and capable of pumping up a tire fast for a mini (once you've managed to not break the damn valve stem). Overall, 1 chili and $20+ is way too much.
