Poor light output, Inadequate battery capacity, unreliable

I bought this light for my road bike because of its small size and light weight. However I was never happy with it performance. On the the 6w and 10w settings, the system only put out enought light for slow, uphill riding. Anything over 15 mph required the 20w setting, but this limited my rides to under 1 hour. Several months after I bought this light the battery gave out. This was promptly replaced by topeak (excellent customer service), but recently, the power controller started to malfunction causing the light to switch between the different settings without me touching the button. This was the last straw. I have abandoned this light and am in the market for a non-smart halogen system to replace this light. At best, this light is adequate for commuters who only need to be seen and are riding on well-lit city streets. If you ride dark rural roads or mountain bike, you should consider other systems.

This was the only halfway affordable lights my lbs could get. So I took a chance and have been impressed. I've used them in two 24 hr races the past summer and a lot of night riding. I've found that the listed run times were accurate and it charges very quickly. I haven't had any problems so far. I am very happy with this product. I am definitely buying another set before they discontinue this model. I think the guy who posted before me must have got a lemon because I've had no problems whatsoever.
