Sven Timmer   Cross Country Rider [Jan 02, 2002]
    Strength:

Many functions for a low price

    Weakness:

quite big (as a watch), no storage function

This heart rate monitor does everything a normal biker needs: show the heart rate and use limits. A few extra features are nice (temperature, altimeter) but not necessary for the majority of the riders. For this price the quality is very good, so I can recommend it.

Amigo   Weekend Warrior [May 14, 2005]
    Strength:

Inexpensive, large display, great features (especially the recovery reading) with Min, Max & Ave

    Weakness:

Over time will lose water resistant, bulky, occasional lost readings

I'm pleased to get 4 years out of this one. Finally died on me while running a marathon... water from sponge did it (quite disappointing when you need your race readings). On the plus side, altimeter & temperature readings are a bonus when you're climbing those mountains. The rubber handlebar mount was easy to use and can be used for other strap-on toys. I recommend it if you find it a discounted price.
