Cross Country Rider

Strength:

-Lightweight (9+ lbs)
-Strong, durable (used on 3500 gravel road / backcountry tour) I purchased it in 2000. It survived a car hitting me
and knocking me 35'. I used it yesterday (2011) to get groceries.
-Carried food and gear for cold weather two week no resupply
-Tracks well on very narrow trails
-Never catches and hooks up on rocks
-Sloped -- sheds water
-Can fold and carry onto bus
-good for groceries
-Bag has shoulder straps ... can carry trailer and
bag as a backpack (best without trailer frame)
-Pulls so easily I forget it is there
-I have packed over 100lbs in it.
(food and water for over a week.)
-No sign of wear after 12 years (still original tire) .. never even had a flat.
-Removable dividers on inside,
-Four external pockets
-Can carry long load on top.
-Hitch pin quick release
-Can turn bicycle tighter than 90 degrees
-Can swing trailer up to bicycle for parking
(trailer can pivot to parallel bicyle while
still attached.
-Steel lock loop to lock to bicycle.

Weakness:

-Cannot fold while bag full.
-Could be more waterproof
-Wheele (mfg) seems to have gone out of business.

I have not seen any other trailer that
beats this one. None are even close.

I am very careful to make sure it is not stolen.

The weight and bulk I can carry with front and rear panniers
and the trailer is astounding. Helps in winter expeditions and for traveling in areas with no resupply options.

Douglas Wilson
Weekend Warrior

Strength:

Light And easy to store IT folds tracks well and can hold a large amount of gear for week long or weekend trips.

Weakness:

Can't find another one This one is the son's and I want one. Hard to swap mounts from one bike to another.

I would like to purchase one for myself the trailer follows well and has low weight and rolling resistance. It is not for big loads, But makes bike camping trips nice. The dealer no longer carries the trailer and is not real eager to talk about it, would rather sell what he stocks. I highly reccomend this unit if you are looking for more space than panniers can provide and want a low weight alternative to the Large two wheel trailers It has a well planned pack bag and is light enough you won't regret it after a 40 or 50 mile day. If you know the mfg please email me. If you and your freind like bike triping/camping thi is a excellent choice
