Description:DC comes from Dual Chamber. A radical new shock design that allows for a bigger air volume, a linear spring rate, and the full utilization of the entire travel length of the shock. It's an ideal technology for lightweight freeride bikes. The DC sleeve can be fitted onto any air shock in our product range, and can be rotated in any direction - so convnient.

    Date Reviewed: July 5, 2006
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Purchased At:Super Shox
Strengths:Light weight, Durable, smooth linier like a coil over and affordable.
Weaknesses:Tricky to get the right setting, but once set up perfect.
Similar Products Used:Fox Air DHX 5.0
    Bike Setup:Conspiracy Theory 1
Bottom Line:Right, I bought the prototype shock fom Super Shox which was a 02 RC DC 222mm. Only one around apparently????!!??They should be in mass production (come on X-Fusion!!!) This is the shock to rival the Fox Air DHX 5.0,The price of just 250 GBP was a bargain. Looks cool, no signs of it suffering from heavy abuse and its the the closest air shock that i know of to match the performance of a coil over. Took a while to setup with there being 5 points of adjustment but well worth it in the end. Any Downhill rider looking to save wight on his/her bike should take this on into consideration.
