from Cronulla Date Reviewed: December 3, 2004 | | Favorite Trail: | Shidu area - just out of Beijing | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Price Paid: |
$10.00 | | Purchased At: | chi ling da sha markets | | Strengths: | You can get off your bike and walk around the shops, cafe's or along the beach - and look the business.. | | Weaknesses: | After about 15 wears, you are going to have to finally put them in the washing machine, but they won't need ironing... which is great. | | Similar Products Used: | Skirts, board shorts, cords, my cool running pants I got from Target (how good is target!!) | | Bike Setup: | Airborne paka wallup with nice bits that make it go zoooom (great bike - get one - zooooom) | | Bottom Line: | Great for getting out on the "around town bike". You can go shopping, met your friends anywhere, and if you just happen to run into some buddies or that cute guy - hey - you are looking pretty cool (skirts have the same benifits and are also highly recommended for all of the same reasons). | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$30.00 | | Purchased At: | Your local store | | Strengths: | Looks great, costs less than biking shorts, and you don't look stupid. | | Weaknesses: | Failure to blend in with biking dweebs, if you are into that sort of thing. | | Similar Products Used: | Levi (Red-Tab) Jean Shorts, Khaki Shorts on occasion | | Bike Setup: | N/A | | Bottom Line: | Rivets! Now those hold up. And you don't like you need to be beaten up.
What is the deal with those bikers wearing spandex and no underwear. Sickos!

from Crowley, LA Date Reviewed: January 5, 2002 | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Price Paid: |
$14.00 | | Purchased At: | Wal-Mart | | Strengths: | Comfy and definetely high fashion. Wrangler/Lee pre-wash jeans cut off to 5" inseam. | | Weaknesses: | Crotch inseam can be a bit rough on extended rides, best to wear cycling shorts under modified jeans. | | Similar Products Used: | Levi's 517 jeans.... | | Bike Setup: | Trek 700 series road frame with Campy record set. | | Bottom Line: | Save the jean shorts for short rides and use real cycling attire for long rides, your rear end will thank you!! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1.00 | | Purchased At: | yard sale | | Strengths: | Cool color Price | | Weaknesses: | Sore balls Non-wicking | | Similar Products Used: | Levis, thong underware | | Bike Setup: | One I found in the neighbors garbage. I think it say's Huffy on it. | | Bottom Line: | These are some real nice shorts. Just make sure you don't cut them too short or they wedge up in your butt crack. The only problem I've had with these is that they cause your balls to get all sweaty. I think I got a rash from them, but it might have been from that sweetheart that works on the street corner. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2.00 | | Purchased At: | a yardsale in my trailer park | | Strengths: | Good gas ventilation after eatin' some racoon sandwiches and beans(yes, my girlfriend is a good cook). Color matches the color of my favorite beer cans...Natural Ice.(good stuff!) They look good with my wrestling t-shirts and my mullet. | | Weaknesses: | People always whistlin' at me and yellin' "nice Daisy Dukes". I tell them "nope these are just Wranglers". Who in the hell is Daisy Duke anyway? Must be like Calvin Klein or sumthin'. | | Similar Products Used: | Almost had me a pair of Lee's but the security officer at Walmart grabbed me before I got out the door. | | Bike Setup: | Who the hell can afford a bike? I live in a god damn trailer park! | | Bottom Line: | I'll tell ya the bottom line...these things are tight, light, and the ladies love them. 1 year and still going strong. And with all the money I'm saving I can buy lots of Natural Ice. $8.00 for a 12 pack...it's like a sore dick...ya can't beat it!!! Yeeee-Haaawww! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
