Sloppy workmanship on the spindle

DEAN Bam Bam XTR
Bottom Line:
I like the unit. I know the bearings won't last that long in this region but I can always just pop some new ones in real easy. My bike has an odd size BB shell. I'm not sure if any other BB would have worked.

Well, like the rest of the world I too have been conned into thinking that there might be some magical quality associated with trick, lightweight aftermarket products .. and that quality is nondurability!! My White Ti BB has been a constant pain in the ___, continuous creaking to bearing failure to seizure in the BB shell. White has beeen accomodating, but their components (the hubs are hugely problematic too) are egregiously under-engineered. More fool us.
