This is a very nice fork. Super light and stiff. But you do end up paying for that combination. It definitely has a different feel than a marzocchi. I've been a die hard Zoke fan since the Z2 bam in 98 so I'm used to the marzocchi feel. This is smooth (after the first break in period) but it feels "different" than my marzocchis. Definitely stiff and so far has taken everything I've done to it. Very nice to look at. But then again, White brothers have always been nice forks to oggle since they first came out.
I just ordered a VT 1.3 20 mm fork for my longer travel bike. Hope it's as good as this one!!! I'll post a review as soon as I get some miles on that one.

I purchased this fork after being very frustrated with a lightweight flexi fork. I knew the Fox Fx Terrilogic forks were stiff, work very well and are all the rage, but I couldn?t find one for under $700. For me, I just couldn?t spend that much on a fork, no matter how well it worked. I tried the eBay/ "mtbr for sale" route and found that used Fox forks were selling for over $600. I stumbled across the White Bros. Fork while doing some research for stiff forks. What a find it was!!!!!! It has the highest stiffness to weight ratio of any fork on the market and it shows. The steering is unbelievable. Just lean the bike a bit in a corner and the front end follows like you?re on a rd bike. Point the fork at a line through a rough technical section and it tracks straight and true. Set up and adjustment are a snap due to the high volume low pressure air chambers. (I?ve used the total air system that was in the older versions of this fork and due to the high pressure low volume they are very sensitive and tricky to get dialed in.) The fork has all the adjustments you really need (compression, rebound and lockout) and none that just add weight and maintenance complexity. At under $500 this has to be the best fork deal on the market. It?s been so good in fact, I was just about to buy another for my FS bike. However, I got a used FX80 for less than the cost of a new White. It will be interesting to compare the performance of the two, Terralogic aside.

the only real weakness I can think of is the cheesy, plastic compression adjust. lever... but it works so who cares.

Bottom Line:
I have the 80mm version of this fork. When I purchased this fork, I was considering the Marzocchi Marathon. I chose this fork over the Marathon because of it's simplicity. The Marathon is a great choice, but when I got right down to it, this fork has everything I need: compression/lock-out, rebound admustment and great looks. Plus it simply performs better than any other fork I've used.
CNC'd aluminum, anodized lowers, 32mm stanchions... this fork is beefy and relatively light at the same time. I've been riding this fork hard for about a year's time now and I haven't had any problems with it at all.
Get this if you're looking for something you can forget about while you're riding... isn't that the idea anyway?
