Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Price Paid:
$35.00
Purchased At:
Mtn. Equipment Co-op
Strengths:
Intuitive and easy to operate, with an excellent operators manual. Large, easy to read display. Can be easily removed from bracket and transferred to another bike (if you purchase an optional second bracket and sensor) and the system will store the rolling circumference of two different wheel sets so that the data is always correct if you swap between bikes (road or mtb).
Weaknesses:
For its niche (features for the money) it doesn't have any weeknesses. If you want more features, like a heart rate monitor or wireless, then step up to a different model.

Bike Setup:
Santa Cruz Blur XC
Bottom Line:
Fantastic value for the money. It has all the features needed for most riders, as a great price. The display is large and easy to read, and the buttons are easy to operate. Functions are very intuitive, so you aren't always having to refer to the manual to figure out how to operate it, and the documentation that comes with it is excellent.
