$100.00 | | Purchased At: | tune (directly) they know me and I speak German :-) | | Strengths: | Light, STRONG, ever lasting Beautiful (got the blue one), well engineered Well, made in Germany is all I say | | Weaknesses: | ZERO | | Similar Products Used: | A LOT, almost everything from Shimano to DT | | Bike Setup: | Nöll M6 Enduro custom made, Components (only the best) Thomson, Marzocchi,FSA,Magura Marta SL(front),Magura Gustav M (rear),mavic, DT, Sram, Schwalbe and of course TUNE | | Bottom Line: | I used to ride XC races in Germany for years before I came over here to the US and used the same hub back then, but someone liked my bike more than I did and stole it. Anyway when I put this hub in the hands of my local mechanic he looked at me funny and he tryed to spinn the hub and said hey man that one does not spinn very easy, I smiled and said take the rim and spokes you ordered for me put it together (tight, I like it solid) put it in a frame close the skewer and spinn it than. I picked up the wheel next day and he smiled at me and said not only is that thing ridiculously light but it also spinns forever. Well after riding that thing for 3 years in the NORTHWEST (you know rain and mud and snow) it is still the fastest hub I have seen and strong too (I weigh 215lb), we are talking hard fast trail riding with log-overs and jumps no matter what weather conditions!! Unfortunately as you can see on my bike setup above I have disc brakes now and had to say goodbye to the MIG 75. (My brother will be very lucky, he get the wheel) I also bought the KONG disc hub for the rear for the new bike (see above) and will post a revie about that one as well. Here in Washington we just have too much rain that i could continiue to ride rim brakes it was way to dangerous (for me and the trees). | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$100.00 | | Purchased At: | Europe | | Strengths: | Beautiful, Light, scarce | | Weaknesses: | none at all yet | | Similar Products Used: | DT Swiss | | Bike Setup: | Ellsworth Truth, sub 23 lbs with Magura Martas, Tune Hubs laced to Mavic 717 with Sapim XRay spokes, Race Face Deus Cranks with Specialties TA Rings, XTR Cassette, WTB Stealth peds, Titec Ti Stem, Easton CT2 Post, plus other light stuff | | Bottom Line: | This hub work great so far. I wanted to build a set of disc wheels that was as light as non disc wheels, and the wheelset is less than 1500 grams. Yet I needed durability also. I did not like the look of the American Classic hubs, so I sprung for these. I am totally stoked. The set is gorgeous, and stiff. These are hard to get in the states, but worth the search. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$120.00 | | Strengths: | lightest available, strong, no maintenance, cool looks for the radial variant | | Weaknesses: | price, especially for the radial variant | | Similar Products Used: | XTR | | Bike Setup: | Trek OCLV97, rohloff,Chris King, tune, easton, race face, nokon, eggbeaters,.. | | Bottom Line: | Smooth, cool, strong, durable (used the normal variant for a year now, the radial about a month), I love Chris king stuff, but this one ist lighter and maybe is as durable.. I weigh about 190# and I had no problems with the tune skewers and hubs so far.. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Feldafing Date Reviewed: June 20, 2002 | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Purchased At: | Whizz Wheels | | Strengths: | Best low weight hub available | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | Shimano XT, XTR,LX | | Bike Setup: | Trek 9900 OCLV | | Bottom Line: | An update (see below). These (Mig75/Mag215) are still going strong, no problem whatsoever, and I AM really testing these hubs, self being 220 lbs. I use them with Salsa CroMoly skewers, since the original tune skewer are too week, in my opinion. The hubs are definitely five chiliesoverall rating. And since they keep going, value rating is five chilies, too. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Munich Date Reviewed: July 5, 2000 | | Duration Product Used: | 2 Years | | Strengths: | low weight, smooth going | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | King, Huegi 240, Bees ... | | Bike Setup: | Trek 9900 Pro Issue, Manitou SX Carbon, XTR/SRAM Attack 8.0 | | Bottom Line: | Have used a custom made wheel set with black Mig75/Mag215/Mavic Ceramic 217/36 DT Comp Spokes for more than two years now (produced by Whizz Wheels). I ordered this strong version because I am rather heavy (220lbs). The hubs (and spokes) performed flawlessly throughout without any maintainance at all. A bit of fine trueing was necessary only once (compliment to the guys at whizz wheels). I had to replace the rims, though, after two years of hard use (not sooo bad for a light race rim). I had the old hubs used with new rims/spokes to build a new wheelset. I used the clamp ons from tune only a short time. These are too weak for my taste, especially as both the fork and the frame have some flex. Both fork and frame can do with every extra stabilizing force they can get. So I 've replaced them with cromoly salsa ones, which suit very well from the finish (a glossy black for both hubs and clamps). In all, I find it absolutely amazing hwo these hubs 1. work, 2. endure with 3. this low weight. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

These wheelset is really one of the lightes available. I weight 65 kg, I used them now over 6 months with a rigid steel fork, not one mm of difference on the frontwheel. I would give it more than 5 stars. | Overall Rating: |

The weight of mine is 83g which is a bit heavier than the standard version because mine is reinforced for radial spoking. It looks good, its strong and it runs smoothly - what else would you want from a front hub? | Overall Rating: |
