Bottom Line:
this stem does its job. i would not reccoment buying it unless your a freerider. if you do anything else, easton is the wat to go with stems and handlebars.

Strengths:
Four bolts holds the bar snug. Looks really cool. Not too bad of weight I think. Stiff when torqueing on the bar, and precise when steering.
Weaknesses:
Four bolts take extra time to tighten, loosen, etc. AND its heavier than a 2 bolt design would be.
Similar Products Used:
OE generic item
Bike Setup:
Trek 930, Duke XC, 517 on XT, X9 shifters and deraillur, LX front Der. Stans No-tubes (AWESOME!!!), Stainless eggbeaters.
Bottom Line:
A good solid stem. I debated about getting the team stem, but decided to go with the Wavo because of cost. With the money I saved I droped even more weight off my bike by changing out my OE generic handlebar for a lighter Truvativ XR model. The stem is heavier than some others out there, but it is a stiff and solid item, but by no means heavy. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. The four bolts can get annoying, but you really aren't messing with them that much, so it's not an issue. I love the way it looks. You feel more condident just by looking at it. The bottom line is that this is a great stem. No complaints. Nada.
