Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $120.00
Purchased At:Price Point
Strengths:solid crankset, good price.
Weaknesses:correct installation can be tricky
Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Zion 660 EBB, RS recon race, mavic crossride wheels, built into a Single speed of course.
Bottom Line:great crank set for a single speed bike.
be sure to follow instructions when installing crank to insure proper bearing preload.
you have to tighten and then loosen the crank until no play is felt.
This has been a nice crankset for my SS bike.
I've been riding it pretty hard for about a month with no problems.

Date Reviewed: March 7, 2007
Favorite Trail:Butcher Ranch
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $189.00
Purchased At:Performance Bike
Strengths:Good advertising, Performance would have taken them back on the 100% money back deal. But they did not build these piece of s#!-
Weaknesses:Bearing never lasted more than three hundred miles in the dry. one ride if wet, half ride is muddy. This is the worst bike product I have ever bought
Similar Products Used:ENO
Bike Setup:Marin Team Issue from 1995 convert, Fox, Thompson post/stem, Easton 31.8 carbon bars, 2.4 moto raptors, Some Chris King stuff
Bottom Line:Installed new crank lasted a couple of rides, was repaired with warranty seals that did not fix problem. The money
I have spent on repair and bearings would have bought three sets of ENO's. Same reason I only use King headsets, money spent, money saved.

Buy these cranks if you do not ride your single speed and it just hangs in the garage so you can tell folks at work that your hard core

Date Reviewed: October 13, 2006
Favorite Trail:Hole in the Ground
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:works perfectly
Weaknesses:special BB tool I didnt have
Similar Products Used:stylo old BB style
Bike Setup:Swift frame custom built for eccentric BB and Rohloff hub.
Bottom Line:This set of cranks in combination with my eccentric BB and the GXP bottom bracket system is really amazing. I was worried that the eccentric BB system would cause creaking etc. I assembled everything with grease a year ago and havnt touched it since. I weigh 200lb and enjoy pretty technical trails weekly. The external bearrning design is obviously a huge advantage.
