from FL, CA Date Reviewed: November 10, 2006
Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Price Paid:
$125.00
Purchased At:
LBS
Strengths:
Very stiff, light, and NO hassles! (Sprocket always straight, no spacer/alignment issues, no creeping play between arm and spindle, no special tools required for removal.)
Weaknesses:
Not as stiff as Saints. Forthcoming DXR cranks should resolve spider and alignment issues, but will be expensive.
Similar Products Used:
Profile (Hassles! See above), Saint (Expensive, weak spider, hard to align with BMX BB), Redline (a little heavy).
Bike Setup:
Crupi XXL frame. Very light pro race set-up.
Bottom Line:
At half the price of Saints (look around), they are very close in performance. They look pretty slick, too.
