Date Reviewed: July 23, 2004 | | Favorite Trail: | vietnam | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Purchased At: | came on bike | | Strengths: | hmm... lemme think... nothing! | | Weaknesses: | i'll admit it- i beat the crap out of my bike. it's fun. but when your BB is so beat that the crank wobbles a quarter inch- it sucks. it came on the bike, i wasn't crazy about the setup but i said what the hell. i'll try it and if it sucks- i'll get raceface... well... guess what? i got raceface | | Similar Products Used: | raceface prodigy | | Bike Setup: | 01 gt avalance 2.0 w. lots of beefy components- raceface crank and bb, race face diabolus headset, syncros big box rims | | Bottom Line: | i'm a mechanic and i see stuff like this all of the time- people have a bike, they beat on it, and stuff needs replacement. this thing was the sweetest BB for about 100 non-abusive miles. then i started doing jumps, drops, and fun stuff. if you're doing light XC riding, it'll be fine, otherwise get raceface | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
