I bought this rig for my petite fiancee for a graduation gift. She absolutely loves the bike. It's taken her to a new level. Her confidence and control and fun factor is at an all time high. My ticket to more trail time!! Highly recommended.

Bottom Line:
The Trek Fuel 98 has allowed me to compete in the elite group. The quick response and superior handeling of the bike allows me to finish consistantly in the top ten.

Strengths:
The frame can take a beating. The frame is also well balanced.
Weaknesses:
The shock makes the bike little heavier than a hard tail but still lighter then most.
Bike Setup:
The setup isn't the best because the rims are not disc compatiable but don't let that stop you! Can always change the rims and put discs on.
Bottom Line:
The bike is well worth the money for a full suspension bike because the ride is something great!
