Bike Setup:
FSA Team issue cranks, double. FSA carbon Pro flat bar, Profile design stem, Sram X9 pods and derailleur (rear) X7 front. Fox F90 RL fork. FSA seat (concrete brick to sit on). FSA XC-300 wheelset. Avid Juicy 5 185 brakes. Silly Shimano XT cassette. Sram 990 chain. Crank Brother Egg beater pedals, Salsa Pepper Jack grips and Michellin Tires...until UPS arrives.
Bottom Line:
This bike is super responsive and extremely fast. I like the new bottom bracket, bearing only system. The bike is set up for a 100 mm fork, but my F90 is sufficient for now. I'll be putting this bike through its paces Sunday in Warsaw, Missouri and I don't see any issues. I like not having a tripple as there is no need for a 22 tooth ring with this ride.
If you want the Lamborghini from Trek, then find a 9.9 SSL hardtail and enjoy!
