For the price of a shwinn at sports authority I got this trek with a lifetime warranty and free tune-ups for life with the bike shop I purchased it at. Also you can always re-sell a trek! I found that it was a no-brainer, plus I love the color everytime I ride the bike I get compliments on it! I am not a big off road trail rider so this bike works perfect for me and when I do go off-road it handles it very well. Great buy for the price and with a couple small upgrades can be a great bike!
