Favorite Trail:
Ape (nothing to do with monkeys whatsoever)
Duration Product Used:
Less than 1 month
Purchased At:
Trek.lv
Strengths:
Note: I'm speaking only about the frame. Great geometry. Easy to control. Grind plates on chainstays are great idea. thick steerer tube.
Weaknesses:
Some spots of bad paint job.
Similar Products Used:
Bikeman Zecke / Giant Acid
Bike Setup:
Mz MC comp 03, Truvativ Hollzfeller's, Grossman wheels, Avid BB7 w/DX lever (rear only)

The best you can get for the money. And Trek has really wide dealer network, so you are covered in case anything happens to it. Not likely.

Strengths:
The strength of this product is solid and unstoppable. I own a Jack 3 and it never needs a repair unless I have a huge wipe out.
Weaknesses:
It is a hardtail and it is hard landing.
Similar Products Used:
Kona Cowan was almost as nice.
Bottom Line:
The Jack 3 can beat out any other freeride hardtails going besides the Banshee Morphine but other than that, it is within the top 5 from my pick. NOW GO RIDE!
