from Edmonton, AB Date Reviewed: May 17, 2002 | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Purchased At: | Ridley's Cycle | | Strengths: | Strong frame Nice paint | | Weaknesses: | Bars too wide Heavy Crappy tires Useless brakes Cheap wheels Stupid saddle | | Bike Setup: | Stock frame/wheels with 990 rear brake (ditched front brake), Primo Mustache bar, Velo saddle, Primo grips | | Bottom Line: | This bike didn't cost me anything - won it at a mountain bike race in summer '99. It comes set up for flatland, I rigged it up for BMX. Way too heavy - it still weighs 33lb. compared to 26lb. for my '01 Specialized Hemi Team cruiser. I'll use it until I'm good enough at BMX to justify replacing it, then use it as a trail jumper. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
