$270.00 | | Purchased At: | Trek Store | | Strengths: | This is one of the most solid frames I have ever ridden. The geometry is perfect for wheelies (I'm up to 300 feet). The extra gussets not only make it look cool but it strengthens that much more. Plus the fact that it is full cromo. The frame is a definante plus because I can get a bit sketchy sometimes.
| | Weaknesses: | As with any stock bike some parts are crap. This goes with the cables, gyro, pedals and brakes. A couple weeks ago i broke my back brake cables, later replaced with Odyssey slic cables. The gyro is kinda finiky, its hard not to get it to tilt and keep it that way. Even thought these brakes still stop, they don't have that nice and firm feel. This is because the arms are thin and the cables suck. These pedals may not be the best on the market, but they get the job done. But at the end of the day they still suck. And the weight, holy crap (36lbs). Odyssey slic cables. | | Bottom Line: | This bike is excellent for the begginer or the person thats been around the block more than once. I've been bmxing for 6 or 7 years so I know how to push it. I've had some pretty nasty crashes one including a dirt bike, but this bike just comes back. This is one of those bikes that feels so strong you think you can take on any jump. $280.00 | | Purchased At: | G&G | | Strengths: | Very strong frame. pretty light. wheels take forever to wear out (about 4-5 months). | | Weaknesses: | the pegs that come with the bike are horible. if you dont gring, get new ones, if you dont take them off, through them away. | | Bottom Line: | A good buy.Go for it. Good for all skill levels, but made for about a standard BMXer (1-3 years). NEVER USE THE PEGS!!!
