    Date Reviewed: September 25, 2003
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Purchased At:Halfords
Strengths:Handy bag for spare tube, levers, multi tool, credit card, cash etc. (I didn't ever put a phone in it!)
Weaknesses:The clip has a design fault and the bag falls off!
Similar Products Used:Got a Wedgie instead.
    Bike Setup:Stock Rockhopper 03
Bottom Line:The clip has a MAJOR design fault. There is a mounting bracket, which you attach to your bike (no problem here). The belt clip on the bag clips firmly into the bracket (no problem here). However, the belt clip falls off the bag (the bag falls off). The platic lug that is supposed to prevent the clip from sliding off the bag is far too small. If it hadn't been for the inate honesty of the cycling fraternity I would have lost it and its contents for ever.

    Date Reviewed: July 27, 2002
    Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Good build quality, Quick Release Mounting. Belt Clip and Shoulder Strap included.
Weaknesses:A bit too short for the larger (Old Tech) phones, such as the Nokia 252 series. Another 1/4" would make things easier for these larger phones. With a struggle, mine barely fits.
Similar Products Used:Duct Tape, Rubber Bands, Belt Clip, Back Pocket, Seat Bags....
Bike Setup:SoftRide "Husky," but the phone bag doesn't care what bike you own...
Bottom Line:The bag protects the phone, like any phone case would do, only this one completely encloses the phone. The closure is a zipper.
The phone bag unclips from the bike, and then clips onto an included belt clip. The included detachable shoulder strap can also be used.
Both the belt clip adapter, and the shoulder strap, can be stored in the accessory pocket on the front of the case. Extra bike mounts, belt clips, and shoulder straps may be purchased, as needed.
If you have one of the older, bulletproof, "Old Tech" phones, like a Nokia 252 series, the case is useable, but very tight. In order to USE any phone, it has to be removed from this case.
If you want to have a phone with you while riding, this thing works well. If you want to USE a phone while riding, this case is not for you. GOOD LUCK!
If it were slightly taller, and slightly less expensive, I would give it a perfect score. Twenty Bucks is a bit stiff for a phone case......
