Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Purchased At:
Montpellier
Strengths:
Beautiful frame, very strong and light. Excellent output of the suspensions. Very easy to drive in all terrane conditions. Very efficient and playful for long rides on climbing singletracks.
Weaknesses:
Aluminium axis of the main pivot of the rear suspension is too weak (it brokes after 3 mounth). Impossible to obtain a new one from the shop! after Waiting 4 months, I have to design a new one lighter and stronger that works well since.

Bike Setup:
Rockshox SID SL, all XTR equiped, Mavic Crossmax
Bottom Line:
Very expansive, but exceptional. The after sales service is non existent (at least in France)! What a shame for such a bike!

Bottom Line:
I just got it so this will get a longer-term follow up, but this is an incredible bike! With no light-weight weight-weenie stuff this bike is still barely over 22 pounds!!!With the SPV shock this bike is cush on the trail, but climbs like a billy goat. It's much stiffer, for example, than the Moots Smoothie or Litespeed Niolta Ti and goes where you point it in turns. On top of all that, you rarely see another one out there, and it's probably the most attractive full suspension frame made.

Duration Product Used:

Purchased At:
Sunshine Bike Shop
Strengths:
Very light, quick, climbs like a goat on steroids, you will find yourself riding on the edge of hairy downhills, good with drops, roots, rocks, just point and pull the trigger. I am running UST Hutch Python tires, they seem to work well in most conditions with 30 -35psi. Johnny & Doug did their homework on this one! I also have the Aluminum version as a single speed, it is also very nice, maybe a pound or so heavier frame?
Weaknesses:
Cost, Frame is near $3,000 retail
Similar Products Used:
Litespeed, C-dale
Bike Setup:
Top Shelf, No Shimano!!!
Bottom Line:
Sell the house and buy one! The Aluminum version rides as well! Best quality in the business, the folks at American Bicycle are the best!!! The national champ rides a Tomac!!
