    Favorite Trail:Bing Bang @ Bromont
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $1900.00
    Purchased At:Pinkbike (used)
Strengths:Stiff, Can be inexpensive if you find one used, Rides great.
Weaknesses:Rear hub is hard to find/ expensive if you do. Chain rubs the chainstay. And it isn't the lightest frame around.
    Similar Products Used:Balfa BB7
Bike Setup:2004 Frame, 888, Maxxis tires, E13 SRS guide, Truvativ cranks and Wellgo pedals
Bottom Line:This bike fit the bill perfectly for me. Picked it up used, the frame is solid and should last a long time. Just need to make sure I keep the rear hub in good shape. I really enjoy the ride, what else could I ask for.

    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $550.00
    Purchased At:ebay
Strengths:Super stuff. Wide BB, Strong as living hell. Makes most bikes quiver in their puny little paths. Looks awsome. Corners like a crackhead running from the cops.
Weaknesses:Impossible to make most parts fit without extreme modifications or custom parts.
Similar Products Used:Azonic Eliminator. Karpiel Armageddon.
Bike Setup:Tomac Mag 204 frame. (888r's, white brothers DH-3, Risse Trixxy, Monster T's), Profile DJ cranks, MRP chain Guide, Hayes mechanical brakes (I hate hydros). And a ton of other custom crap.
Bottom Line:This frame is probably one of the stiffest out. Even a yeti 303 dosent compare to the stiffness of this frame. 165mm rear 20mm through axle makes this thing bomb proof. Ive hucked this, freerode it, urban rode it, and its never let me down. Parts are hard to find. If you dont know much about wrenching or custom fabbing stuff stay away. If you want a top notch bike no other will stand up to and have deep pockets or mechanical skills this is definately for you. I cant wait to test the new 2007 prototype tomac frame next month. I dont think I will buy another brand. The major headaches caused from putting parts on this thing is by far worth it.

    Date Reviewed: September 25, 2005
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $800.00
    Purchased At:sketchy basement shop
Strengths:super stiff, great suspension, looks PIMP!
Weaknesses:no chianguide mounts on the frame, rear hub needs to be serviced every month or it seizes up, bushings wear out every six months, the linkages clog with mud.
    Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Tomac 204 (duh), Super T, singletracks, northshore cranks, azonic bars, Hayes, E13
Bottom Line:A very sweet but finickey bike that is very stiff and could benifit from a shock upgrade. Get this bike if you ride in dry conditions and can afford to get a fith element or something. All the problems that i had with it probably have to do with the extremley wet conditions i ride in. Overall a pretty sweet bike with looks that cant be beat.

Strengths:So smooth and sticky on the road
    Weaknesses:littel heavy
    Similar Products Used:giant team dh
    Bike Setup:boxxer wc,5th element,mavic 521 thomson
Bottom Line:the best dh bike ever bilt i think. Doug bradbury and John tomac built an amazing bike. You can go at 45 mph and the bike will never exit the trail.

It never bottum out you can do every thing with this bike.

    Favorite Trail:Pink Starfish, Groovula
    Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:Unbreakable Frame, 8 inches of hammer-gel smooth-progressive suspension, reliable linkage that is so easy to maintain, even while standing in line at Whistler. A real plus is the four pinch bolts that lock in the rear axle. It is bombproof cause thier is nothing to bend.
I race this bike, hit the shore on this bike, and could not be happier. It handles completely nuetrally, in the air it completely disapears beneath ya, and corners on rails. The bottom bracket isn't too low, though for pure freeriders, this is not the bike, cause it is fairly long and low.
Weaknesses:chain slap? boo hoo. My only complaint is minimal, cause if your racing you should be running tubeless, but that said, changing tires is a chore cause the back end is so built up. Personally, I could care less as long as nothing bends, creaks, or breaks. And nothing ever has.
    Similar Products Used:SC Bullit
Bike Setup:Shiver, 8 inch Mags f/r, sram 7.0 (sweet, sweet gear) drivetrain, 321's, various azonic goodies, and wrapped in my favorite Mobster/Highroller combo.
Bottom Line:Its fast, versatile, and the ladies all want a ride. There are few bikes like it, and none faster. Unless I haven't been training... but that, my friends,, is another story.
