Favorite Trail:trailless woods behind the house
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $10.00
    Purchased At:www.titec.com
Strengths:Lightness. Strenght of actual post. tilt is infinetly adjustable
Weaknesses:squeeks!!! im sceptical of the "x-wing" design. seems kinda weak at the sight of it
    Similar Products Used:schwinn ride tuned
Bike Setup:schwinn mesa, titec appendages, xtr/sun wheelset duke race fork
Bottom Line:for ten bucks buy it, i think i need to tighten down the bolt to elimate the squeek, but if not i'l just put electrical tape around the seat rails. seems strong, but agian im skepical of the x-wing design.

Submitted by Ricardo Decker a cross-country rider from Riverside, CA
    Date Reviewed: October 26, 1998
    Bottom Line:
The seatpost itself has done well. I only have one complaint and for $35, that isn't shabby. The problem that I do have with it is that is squeals like nothing I have ever heard before. Every time I hit a dip or land after a jump, my Titec lets me know exactly how much pressure was applied. It doesn't affect my ride and I don't have any immediate plans to do anything about it but I thought prospective buyers should know what to expect.
