    Favorite Trail:Noble Canyon, Descanso, CA
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
    Purchased At:Performance Bicycle
Strengths:Light, very stiff, durability, comfortable and price.
Weaknesses:Graphics fade over time but hey it's been through alot of trails!
Similar Products Used:Race Face Evolve XC
    Bike Setup:Stock off of 2003 Giant NRS3
Bottom Line:Ok this is one of the best handlebars out on the market for this price. I really don't trust carbon fiber bars so this was the way to go since I bought the bike. This bar is what I call the "anti-Easton". I've taken it on XC races, singletrack, some all-mountain and still ticks! Buy this bar and you'll never regret it.

Bottom Line:Value for money this does everything Titec said it would. Knock rated... on my previous bike took some tumbles but bars never budged.... changed onto the turner and it is still going strong. Great product and does what it says.

    Weaknesses:None
    Bike Setup:Giant NRS 3 w/ disc brakes
Bottom Line:THese are great handlebars, they are light, and are comfortable in my grip. They are easily adjustable and are way better than straight handlebars.

    Favorite Trail:Cannell Plunge
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
    Price Paid: $49.00
    Purchased At:Don't remember...
Strengths:Perfect blend of sweep, width and rise. Both my hardtail, and my full suspension bike have these bars. I have yet to find another bar that feels as comfortable in my hands. I bought my first HellBent years ago, and have run the same model on every bike I've had since. I've tried other bars in the past, but always ended up going back to the HellBents.
Weaknesses:Could be a little lighter for the weinies...
Similar Products Used:Scott Vertigo's, Easton monkeylite, Answer Pro-Taper carbons (way flexy), and old-school flat bars w/bar ends.
    Bike Setup:Kona Kula Deluxe/XTR & SID and K2 Razorback SL/XT & Fox
Bottom Line:From here on out, I'm gonna stop waisting my money by trying other bars, to only end up putting the HellBent's back on....8^)

Bottom Line:Great handlebar. Feels solid, the 1" rise offers the benefit of the riser bar but stays pretty low profile. Installed it and it just works.

Submitted by Balance Bean a Weekend Warrior from Portland, OR
    Date Reviewed: August 6, 2003
    Favorite Trail:Tarbell
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $65.00
Strengths:This bar is very comfortable, they got the sweep/rise angles just right. Combined with a 100mm stem, it is the perfect position for singletrack downhills, as well as very technical/boulder sections. Very in-control feel.

Also seems to be very strong - I weigh 200 lb with pack, and have been pounding it on the roughest trails I can find, as well as stairs and the occasional 3' drop, for over 2 years
Weaknesses:My riding style has become more aggressive since buying this bar, in part due to the confidence-inspriring hand positioning. The light weight didn't bother me at first, but now having a sub-200g riser bar makes me just a little nervous (not a single problem with durability though)
Bike Setup:steel hardtail, 4" marzocchi, two wheels and a saddle
Bottom Line:Maybe this bar is not adequate for abusive free-ride types, but it has been very durable under my abuse (and the other reviews tend to agree). This seems to be the strongest bar under 200g, and probably ranks with the strongest in the 250g range. Not bad at all for the $65 I paid, and incredible if you can get a better deal.

Similar Products Used:GT xcr, tranz-x, rito
Bike Setup:Giant Xtc SE 1 with duke up front (excellent fork by the way)
Bottom Line:An excellent handlebar, I belive it's one of the best there are. It holds up well despite all kinds of punishment you give it and it`s under 200 g. That`s hard to beat!

    Favorite Trail:South Surrey Atheletic Park
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $10.00
Purchased At:(at Taiwan, thats why its alot cheaper)
    Strengths:-good looking
    -excellent finish
    -lightweight
    -strong
Weaknesses:-should have just a little more bend even though its for XC
Similar Products Used:Tranz X 2014 Aluminum flat bars, IBOC silver flat bars
Bike Setup:XT drivetrain, Truvativ Firex SL(ISIS) cranks, carbon hardtail frame, Formula Cartridge hubs laced onto Alex G2000
Bottom Line:I think this bar is good for XC riding, but I kind of prefer more bend like the Hell-Bent. I am kind of an XC rider but I do a bit of freeride so thats maybe why I prefer more bend. Buy it if the amount of bent is suitable for you. Change to a bent bar if you have a flat bar.

Some people say it is not strong at NSMB but I don't think it is strong. I think people on the NSMB are really rough riders. I am not really rough. I guess you'll just have to try it but get just the Hell-Bent if you are a freerider.

    Strengths:Tough, light, sensitive
    Weaknesses:None
    Similar Products Used:Easton EA50
    Bike Setup:Hardtail
Bottom Line:It's a reeally good bar for the price and it in my opinion outdoes my far more expensive Easton Ea50 that i originally had. It has a nice low rise set up thats more comfortable than a flat and gives the control of a riser, with a shortish Titec stem to go with it it gives a good ride possition. Its a great bar and pretty cheap.
