Strengths:
Functionality! All the guys I ride with have this seat, and this winter, I really learned to use the seat to my advantage while climbing. The extra length really helps out.
Weaknesses:
Okay, can you imagine the jokes I get being a female and riding with a seat shaped like this one?!? It's actually kind of comical. But, once you get over the looks, it's well worth it. Also, the paint on the rails.

Bottom Line:
If you want a saddle that functions like a saddle should, is not so hard that you can't walk after your ride, and will take a good slam here and there without failing, get this seat.

Bottom Line:
Great saddle. The other guy on this page said his rails bent, but he must have a defective product. Ive had mine for a year, and id say id bashed it good. So far so good. Its a great saddle and the extra size is more comfortable. Also, the bigger size is great for when you need to pinch it between your knees for no handers or stability. By it if you want a lasting, heavier weight saddle. If i break this seat sometime soon, i'll buy another one.

This is the best sadle I know. I had a SDG Big Boy but the rails bent like macaroni.
I thing Tioga do not bent the rails because they made a intelligent flexible base for save the 8 mm rails. 5 Flaming overall.
I payed only U$ 16 in a brazilian on-line store. I'm very happy with this product. 5 flamin value.
Well, well, it is good to Nicolas Voullez, is good to me :)
If you go big, get this saddle!

This seat is long and narrow just like a motocross seat, it allows you to shift your body back and forward while seated and is very narrow allowing you to get off the back while descending. also looks good ( black and red )
Weaknesses:
Still hard on your bum.
Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:
I couldn't find a better seat for free-riding so I bought it and have since noticed alot of pro down-hillers using them. The black and white version looks longer ( but isn't ) and has less kevlar and staples, so got the red and black one. I am very pleased with the seat and the extra length is a big help on technical trails, fully recomended.

Comfortable, long, firm but not so hard it hurts your butt, not so soft it gives you hemmhorhoids, looks, low profile enough to stay out of your way when doing tabletops and other bike whip tricks
Weaknesses:
rails can bend easily
Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:
This is a great seat. I used a tioga multi control dh and found it so soft that it hurt my butt after riding down the street, not to mention trails. I loaned this to my friend and he wrecked it, but it was thrashed anyway so he gave me $20 and I got another one. It's obvious that alot of effort went into this saddle, because it's so well designed. When I break this, I'll get tioga's new version with replaceable rails (hopefully out by this fall.) If you like good seats that don't hurt your butt, pick this up and you will be happy.

A very tough saddle, I have had about 4 jumps resulting in a crash each time on the kevlar edges and they still look brand new, I had a hard landing on the seat a while ago and I havn't bent the rails yet. There are some minor problems with it like the stapples are starting to fall out from underneath and gram weinies will complain about the weight a little bit(Paul Vizzari),and I think that the Azonic seats are more comfortable than this one though.I also managed the get this seat for $80 dollars less because it was on sale.

This is the best saddle I have ever had. It is very tough, and coupled with the Hurricane Seatpost (extra long clamp) it is damn near bomb-proof. I don't understand why everyone claims the rails are flimsy. I haven't had any problems, and I have been riding off drops and doing some really sick riding. In my opinion, this saddle rocks, and I give it 5 flaming chilis!

Strengths:
Tough, Sexy, Huge, Kevlar, Cushy, Sleek, Great for Climbing and descending (Multi-Positions, what do you know?)

Needs kevlar on tip. Long rails put too much leverage on seatpost clamp causing the clamp to break. Buy a nice post.

Bottom Line:
I was stupid and bought the saddle at too high of a price. I got the red and black version to go with my bike (Great) After 2 years of hardcore freeriding use, it's rails are only mildly warped (Barely noticeable) I have been through at least 4 posts because the rails are so long that they break clamps due to leverage (Tip: Buy a nice post) Has tiny rip on the front, but other than that, fine. It will kick your ass. Great for freeriding because you can get your bum waaay back for chutes, or sit forward for climbing all comfortably. The ultimate freeride saddle, buy one.

Comfy and really is an improvement over most shorter saddles, kevlar edges are nice, and an "O SO KEWL" racing stripe!
Weaknesses:
I was at Attitash recently for the race, and i have to say i was very disappointed. i took one slip off the pedals and i didnt hit the seat very hard but aparently it was hard enough to bend the rails all to #ell. the rails have bent perfectly around my thomson seat post, and i have no adjustment left.

Bottom Line:
I was really disappointed. it seems like all the good riders were riding Tioga, so i trusted this seat to last. i had it for a week before it was trashed! they really need to do something about the rails. i am going to try to bend them enough so that the seat is at least EVEN.. A great design, but the workmanship with those rails is ridiculous! they probably forgot to heat-treat them or something.. anyways, if you dont ride hard, this would be a great seat, but it does not hold up to DH abuse... not even slalom!

Bottom Line:
This saddle looks realllll long. It is actually only 2 longer and 1/2 wider than a Flite. It seems to be real padded but on the trail it is quite firm. The extra length is nice and doesn't interfere with pedaling, it has beefy rails that should last through at least one good spill. Hell it isn't even all that heavy - lighter than an Avocet Gel saddle. Be sure and use a 2 bolt seatpost with this saddle though, the incredible leverage it can exert WILL flex the head of most single bolt posts... My buddy got about 2 of travel out of that flex, definetly unsafe! Can't wait to see the new Multicontrol 2, it has an insert like a WTB '98 and is more sculpted... Until then my *ss will be planted to a XL.
