    Favorite Trail:Tsali
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $19.00
    Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Strong, The star-punched pins have not failed me. Michigan springs and winters can trash a drivetrain.
    Like the master link.
Weaknesses:Master link not reusable. At least in theory
Similar Products Used:A variety of Shimano junk. Sedis/Sachs
    Bike Setup:XT
Bottom Line:Has not let me down like Shimano (with same mileage and care). Use w/ Pro-link chain lube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Similar Products Used:shimano IG 70/90 >(--)
    sram pc69 (+)
    rohloff SLT 99 atb (++)
    Bike Setup:shimano HG 70 cassette
    shimano LX´98 crankset
Bottom Line:ridin´this chain is satisfying, so far
    shifts easier than shimano chain,
also in dirt and sand conditions!

Submitted by DuDe a Racer from toronto
    Date Reviewed: October 15, 1999
    Favorite Trail:
    mansfeild
    Duration Product Used:
    6 months
    Strengths:
    VERY VERY VERY strong
    Weaknesses:
    too strong!
    Similar Products Used:
    shimano, various others
    Bike Setup:
marin 5inch with xt blackspire cranks
Bottom Line:this chain is really really strong, too strong, because it does not flex and makes shifting a little trickey, and it wears away at your drive train.
great quality, but a little heavey
    very overbuilt.
i use a 8 speed drive train, so im not sure how the 9 speed chain is.
    Overall Rating:4
