$500.00 | | Bottom Line: | My Friends and I were deep on a trail in the middle of nowhere, and we came across the carcass of a dead wild boar. The boar weighed about 250 pounds, and because of the long ride, we were hungry. We built a large fire, but couldn't figure out how to cook the beast. We were in luck, having just purchased the Suntour SR forks for my bike. We skewered the boar with the forks, and roasted it over a large fire. They worked great in that respect. As for trails, I think the forks work as good as the suspension on a Ford Aspire in the middle of a tornado on a road with potholes... | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

This is an update. Well my forks are still running smooth and I just was invited to head up product development for SR-Suntour. Currently we are designing a full suspension bike that uses the same technology as the fork. The bike will be perfectly balanced with an 11/2 front and rear. Now you will know what the trail is instead of riding a marshmallow bike. The new bike will weigh in around 68 pounds so much effort does have to be used when trying to get down the hill. Also new is the use of electro-magnets instead of a seat. That is right, using a special metal plate in your shorts your butt will actually levitate over the seat. Don't look for this bike soon, because our downhill team will be traveling the world-cups this year. Before you look at any other bike check this one out. Estimated price (with batteries) is $4580. If you are interested in buying this bike, trying it out free for a year, or becoming one of our downhill racers(no experiance needed) e-mail me. On another note I would like to say that I don't appreciate the remark that we use elves in our product. People that post here for no reason should be banned off this site. | Overall Rating: |

Last weekend I was poaching the local double diamond ski run and came away amazed, once again at the performance and consistency of my Duotracks. These have got to be the best kept secret on the Pro scene. About a month ago I read in a dirt bike magazine that Jimmy Button was testing the DuoTracks out on his YZ 400. Apperently they are the only forks made today that are able to handle the awesome power his bike produces. My question to you is are you up to the performance level of the DuoTrack. I've ridden all the big brand names (shockster, etc.) and I've never found anything to be better. However...I wanted to see how this technological beauty worked, so I dropped the legs with a few simple tools (allen wrenches, hacksaw, desert eagle). I screamed in horror when I looked inside! To my amazement there was a small colony of elves shackled at their ankles, each turning a crank. They all had cuts on their backs which looked like they originated from a whip. I immediately threw the fork into the ocean. I have since become an elven rights activist, our website is at www.yahoo.com. Fight the power!!! | Overall Rating: |

I been racing downhills for the past five years. I have owned every triple clamp fork that is made and I was very dissappointed. Then one day I tried the Duotracks. Talk about incredible. With the Duo's you don't get all that travel so when you run over even a pebble you will feel it. This is great because you know what you are riding over and you can really feel the trail. The forks offer enough suspension do that when I do my can-can's and heel clickers I don't have to worry about a rough landing. Also these forks are nice and heavy so that they will carry you to the bottom of the hill faster. The way I look at it is the sooner I get to the bottom of the hill the sooner I can chug some more mountain dew and smoke my cigarrettes. Someone told me that they looked goofy on my new Tomac downhill bike, but I but he didn't think it was goofy when I averaged 22mph on the kamakazi downhill!! I would've smoked all those long travel geeks. If you are interested in a monster-t or boxxer e-mail me because I'm giving these pieces of junk away. Here is a great tip to keep your shock working well: Spread yeast all over the tubes. When the yeast rises it fills in all of the microscopic holes on the sliders on keeps your fork running buttery smooth. I wish I could give this more chili's, but this site is probably run by some guy who is still riding a so called decent fork!! What a sucker!! | Overall Rating: |

I got these forks on a lower level univega. I would say that I could have saved money and weight and just got a rigid fork. I got less than 1 of travel because when the forks are weighted, half the travel is sagged away. Luckily my brother has a machine shop...I took the fork over to his place, pulled off the plastic top caps, punched out the stoppers and dropped in some gate return springs I got at the hardware store. Now I get about 3 of super plush travel. Only problem is the springs compress eventually and you have to replace them about every month. I can bomb down most runs just as fast or faster than guys with Mr T's, Mr Dirts, RST XXXL, etc. I hope that suntour comes out with a double crown soon... | Overall Rating: |

My neighbor bought a Duotrak 8001 and I installed it on his Motive mtn. bike. This shock is light, but that is the only positive feature of this fork. Once the fork was installed I took it out for a test ride and this shock does not perform to what other reviewers claim. This shock had only about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of travel and I had to really lean on the handle bars to make the fork even slightly compress. K-Mart, Walmart, Target Huffies and Murrays). With 1 inch + travel and almost as stiff as a plain ridged fork. I should of paid $60.00 more and picked up last years Rock Shock Indy C fork. I did purchase an Indy C the following week and what a difference. My wife is now happy and she enjoys riding her bike on the trails. I gave the Duotrack to the kid next door. here is only one thing to say, this is som real sh.., and it´s dangerous too. When you use the front brake, it flexes 5 cm backwards, it´s feeling like it´s gonna break. It´s a joke to call it suspension, i´ll guess that there is about a half an inch of travel, and it hard, you have to jump on to compress it. DO NOT BUY IT, DO NOT BUY IT.I´m giving it ZERO STARS | Overall Rating: |
