Date Reviewed: July 19, 2002
Favorite Trail:Number 27
Duration Product Used:6 months
Purchased At:Came on bike
Strengths:Nice smooth shifting. Easy cable replacement which is a change from earlier grip shift products.
Weaknesses:Cheap plastic internals. Handelbar clamp is defective by design.
Bottom Line:A great shifter while it lasts. The plastic holding in the detent spring is very weak (mine broke at only 2400 km), so this shifter should not be used by anyone who does any serious riding. The worst part about this shifter is the clamp to fix it to the handlebar. Actually it is not a clamp at all but a set screw which destroyed my aluminum handlebar.

Favorite Trail:uh yah
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $50.00
Purchased At:from a friend
Strengths:easy to shift, usually works well.
Weaknesses:whenever you move your hand the shifters move and then you get all screwed up.
Similar Products Used:shimano rapid fire
Bike Setup:trek
Bottom Line:this works good but i would never buy one again because it sucks cus you can't like bunny hop or anything without shifting.
