Swiss Wall Morzine
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Price Paid:
$10.00
Purchased At:
CRC
Strengths:
Can be used as a door stop afterwards. Highlights of my time using it included removing it from my bike for good.
Weaknesses:
Incredibly weak construction. Wears faster than any chain I've seen in my short lifetime - mine was destroyed in just over three months. Once it's worn, it will destroy your other components. My bike doesn't even have a deurallier and it's still bad!
Similar Products Used:
SRAM PC 850, PC 58, PC88.
Bike Setup:
Ibis Mojo with Rohloff rear hub, 44 tooth LX ring.
Bottom Line:
Just pay the extra for one of SRAM's better chains and you will definitely save money in the long run. This one just isn't built to last. Not only does it wear quickly, individual links break down into pieces, and the whole chain will then quickly wear your other components.
