Submitted by Anah Creet a Weekend Warrior from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
    Date Reviewed: June 14, 2007
    Favorite Trail:Mt Wellington, Hobart
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $700.00
    Purchased At:Bikes to Fit, Darwin
Strengths:The main strength of this bike is the framedesign for women. I am a small frame woman and finding a bike in the world of male sizes is very hard. Specialised are to be congratulated for leading the way in womens MTB. Good discs, reasonable forks, well balanced frame, light for the price
Weaknesses:Second hardrock i have owned. first was gorgeous cobalt blue, this was stolen as it was so lovely. second one is a muddy blue and brown -not quite as nice. No other problems yet does the 2007 frame weigh a bit more than 2006?
Similar Products Used:hardrock sport xc womens sram setup, diamond back
Bike Setup:As supplied -shimano setup added racks for paniers
Bottom Line:Good bike for money, that has a light hardtail frame you can upgrade from with better components if you want, or just stick with the product from the box. Brakes are good, RST suspension forks are also good, smooth, and not too cheap.
