Price Paid:

Strengths:
Looks like a normal shoe, easy to walk in, comfortable.
Weaknesses:
Fell apart after 3 months. I clip the frame a lot as I pedel + scrape them on northeast granite a bit and the leather on the inside + the edge of the sole just got ripped to pieces. I have a hole about 2 inches square in the leather + only half the inside sole left at the back.
Bike Setup:
Specialized Enduro, Bash guard.
Bottom Line:
I'd get these as a first shoe for the comfort or as a shoe for riding around the city and fire roads. But if you beat up your gear a bit I'd stay away from them.

A good beginner shoe. I got mine because of the price. Great shoe if you do a lot of hike-a-biking. As I said they are comfortable and were at a very reasonable price.

Bike Setup:
Mongoose MGX D50 frame, Rockshox psylo fork, fox rear, Shimano STX rapid fire shifters & v-brakes, Deore deraulers, RaceFace RaceRings/crank/bb, Stelle saddle, Shimano PD-M324 pedals.
Bottom Line:
Great looking shoe, affordable, versatile. I love the metatarsal button, it felt a bit odd while trying them on and walking around the store... but i soon grew to love it. The flexible toe section is nice for when you have to climb a fence, or make a quick hike up an all-too-steep slope.
Plus they don't look like conventional cycle shoes.
Highly Recommended

Bottom Line:
These shoes are killer for trail riding. Super comfortable for walking, schlepping a bike around and over fences, and city use. If you need something for light hiking as well as biking, and need SPD compatability, these are great. Another bonus, they look more skater-ish than hiker despite the photo.
