It cost me $1600.00 but it came with a free bike.

its very stiff. the seal broke and now its useless.

Mine started cracking after about a week. It still hasn't broken, but I plan on doing a warranty claim on it. Creaks a lot unless you tighten it WAY up. However, mine still cracked. Came stock on my rockhopper pro. I weigh 180 pounds, so it may work better for you, I don't know.
