Strengths:
Comfortable!
Weaknesses:
Too wide and heavy for diehard mountain bikers
Bike Setup:
Specialized Hardrock Comp, stock except for the saddle and the addition of bar ends, toe clips and straps, bar end mirror and computer
Bottom Line:
I replaced the original seat with the Expediton Pus after my second hour long ride on the origianl equipment and was extremely happy. Despite its width, I could still move around and it gave me a much bigger comfort area when I do sit. I did break the seat by crashing over a few bumps at the local BMX track but I expect that I would have done the same to any seat (I go 290 and stand at 6'4" so I put the rig to the test). I just replaced the saddle with another of the same model after trying a Velo comfort seat for one ride and feeling that it was no better than the original equipment. I did and would buy this saddle again.
