Favorite Trail:francis beatty
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:specialized.com
Strengths:Very comfortable, once you get used to the strange look/shape. It works best when I sit right at the back of the saddle -- but that's my preferred position, anyway.
Weaknesses:Very wide -- I can't get behind the saddle for a challenging downhill section. No, I don't jump or do real 'downhill', but do some moderately technical tracks. And there's places I really feel uncomfortable -- I could go headfirst over the bars. I'm switching this saddle to my road bike soon..
Similar Products Used:Specialized generic. Odyssey (?), Bontrager generic.
Bike Setup:Trek 6500 stock
Bottom Line:Exceptionally good for recreational riding or on the road. NOT for technical singletrack.

Date Reviewed: June 18, 2003
Favorite Trail:Don Trail
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:Sportchek
Strengths:comfy, not too heavy, gell is nice
Weaknesses:the rodz that hold it n the bike bent after 2 months.
Similar Products Used:Stocked saddle
Bike Setup:Iron Horse Patrol
Bottom Line:If you by this saddle you should be an xc or crosscountry rider. Dont try to use it on any down hill courses it'll get damaged like mine but still this is a GREAT saddle. I also suggest that you make sure that the seat post is bolted to it very tightly, because it kept sliding up and down the rodz and that is how i think mine got broken.
