Strengths:
Fits well. Fairly cool (temperature) glove while the "radiators" were attached. If you are a sponsored rider you can feel good about throwing these away frequently.
Weaknesses:
This glove has the worst velcro closure on ANY product I have EVER handled. I cant believe that anyone at Specialized actually inspected this design before releasing it for production. The "hook" flap continually rolls up from the end and does not stick to the "loop" closure. I returned a pair for a new pair as a factory defect but found it to be a matter of "standardized whimpamatic" manufacturing. Secondly, as mentioned in other posts, the rubber venting on the knuckles and dorsal hand peel away after a couple of weeks. What good is it when the selling point of your product falls off after two weeks? If you are a working person who values getting what you pay for, these are not for you.

Bottom Line:
The bottom line is Specialized really dropped the ball on production of this glove. Shame on you Specialized putting out such a worthless product.

Strengths:
Great fit and the ulnar nerve padding is good. I liked the old padding better (one solid pad), but it did move around a bit once they got worn in.
Weaknesses:
The brake/shifter rubber? on the finger tips for non-slip comes off pretty quickly. The rubber air vents on the top of the hands started to fall off after about 2 weeks. I hand wash only and it just isn't lasting. For the price, the gloves should hold up better.
Similar Products Used:
Fox mid-finger gloves with no ulnar padding, another set of Specialized BG gloves from mid-05 (forgot the name)
Bottom Line:
They're good gloves, but don't expect the "frills" to last very long. As I noted, Spec. charges a decent amount for gloves and they should last at least a season if not more. I'll continue to buy the BG gloves since I need the ulnar padding.

Strengths:
Body Geometry technology works, for me at least. Thin palm, not too hot, not overly armored. Fantastic fit.
Weaknesses:
Rubber knuckle pads fall off.

Bottom Line:
My go-to gloves over and over. Palm material offers sufficient protection/sweat absorption without being thick and bunching up. Good top protection for the inevitable trail contact. Thumb features useful terry sweat-wiper. I've lost a couple of rubber knuckle protectors in the wash, but nothing major. Finger material is perforated for good airflow, and backs are stretchy good. The BG pad reduced hand fatigue, especially on long downhill sections. Look good too.
