Strengths:
Protects hands from pavement, comfortable, stylish, and the price was okay.
Weaknesses:
wears kind of quickly, ventilation not the best.
Similar Products Used:
Various Specialized, Fox, and Pearl Izumi gloves
Bike Setup:
96' Giant Sedona, Rhyno lite, Panaracer Fire XC Pro tires, Specialized durango grips (awesome grips and tires)
Bottom Line:
Aaaaaahhhhh... the satisfaction that im not going to burn the top 10 layers of skin off of my hands when i crash. these gloves are really comfortable and do everything advertised to. price is less than most. one thing i noticed was the clarino leather palms are kind of getting thin after 8 months of use... but the fact that i crash a lot couldnt help. Not as good as the more expensive Pearl Izumi Pittards leather gloves (wouldnt crash in those much though).

Strengths:
Definitely Comfortable!
Weaknesses:
May be wearing a little quick, but who can tell after only 3 months? I do think the price is high for this glove (just as every other glove out there.)
Similar Products Used:
Hind, Scorpions (not sure if this is the brand name or the maker), Body Gel
Bike Setup:
Odi Ruffian grips
Bottom Line:
I generally like this glove. Some gel gloves have too much padding and others not enough. This glove seemed to have the right amount and in the right places. I do wish that the terry cloth area (sweat wiper) was a little bigger, but really that's not that big a deal.
Of the 4 different glove styles that I've owned, I'd put these as either first or second. (The scorpions being the other pair that I really liked).

Price Paid:

Purchased At:
Specialized S-Store
Strengths:
Pretty good padding, large terry cloth thumb, look cool
Weaknesses:
Just a little too big for my hand, but the size below it was an extra $9

Bike Setup:
2001 Fisher Tassajara, LX everything, Kore Elite stem and bar, Bontrager rims, Panaracer Fire XC Pro tires, WTB Speed V saddle, Ritchey clipless. Not the best but very good for a 20 yr. old college student. Stylish and color coordinated!
Bottom Line:
I actually have the '01 model but they are the same dag-gum thing. I couldn't beat the deal anywhere else. I really wanted the Fox Mojave gloves in yellow but I can't see myself paying that much for them. They are just gloves for crying out loud!
