Description:This is the long fingered version of our XC glove wich was originally inspired by our team riders who were asking for a lightweight, breathable glove that could handle a season of World Cup racing. Long Finger version provides extra protection while still staying breathable.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $35.00
    Purchased At:mike's bikes at berkerly
Strengths:well ventilated, great grip on bars, comfortable because of the body geometry design.
Weaknesses:ripted the little finger on somthing not sure wat i had'nt fallen off or court them on anything i think the material was just too week. the plastic part on the back obviously has no breathability so that can get damp if your hot on a hot day.
    Similar Products Used:many differant gloves
    Bike Setup:scalpel 1000 stock
Bottom Line:great gloves a bit to thick for riding in the heat and not thick enough for riding in cold.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $35.00
    Purchased At:Specialized.com
Strengths:With Body Geometry you're hand is pampered from the moment you put them on until the moment you take them off. With the air-flow techniques used in all Specialized gloves, your hand is kept dry and cool for up to an hour. However, after that hour passes your hands become wet and sticky.
Weaknesses:After this hour passes, the ride becomes miserable. I reccomend the XC gloves without the extended fingers for the longer rides. Big disadvantage to this glove it that it is not insulated enough for cool weather riding and has too much fabric and insulation for long warm weather riding. Oh yeah, and don't even think about wearing these gloves when the mercury hits 85...

Bottom Line:Overall, this glove isn't that great. If you're looking for yet another glove to add to your bike garage then this is what you need, a glove to be left on the shelf, not taken out on the road.
