I have taken it north shore riding like every month, I made it take 3-8 foot drops depending on the trail. Its easy to climb with and rides trails like there is no tomarrow. Love the disc brakes, rear derailleur, and how it handles on rough terrain. Seat a little hard, but can be replaced easily. Front fork is not the greatest and tends to bottom out at times. The front Shimano Deore derailleur is average, plan to upgrade to a Shimano LX crank and derailleur by next year. I plan to keep this bike for a very long time.
